I come off my 5straight 12s in the am so the knife I offered that was claimed will ship out first thing Mon morning & I'll be putting up some more offerings once I get the chance to dig through the gear box.

I send Kai an email every so often pleading for an M4 liner lock leeks. No luck so far. Perhaps a petition should be made.

Sosa, just checking in - USPS responded and said give it another 2 weeks and then fill out some form. You can bet I'll fill out that form Wednesday when I get home...

People pming me asking what I am giving away and trying to claim it before I even have the stuff....seriously. Boy, that sure takes all the fun out of giving when the vultures come out :mad:
 
I'd keep that list for people that aren't gettning anything. I've got an item or two and I've already got two people that are getting DQ'd may sound crappy but that's not who I want to give anything away to.

Are you kidding me? That's why I put in my item that I wanted to be sure that the person it went to was an actual contributing member and not someone just looking for a free knife. I also have some more packages that may pop up on here and you are right, it ruins the fun when people do that or they claim a knife when their account has no post count and was opened that very day. I'm sure there are people that scour the Internet for "pay it forward" threads and then try to scoop up what they can no matter what the item is.

For the most part this thread has been amazing so let's keep plugging away and not let a few bad apples ruin it for people that can actually use stuff.

That really points out the people who are not even bothering to read or understand the thread and just going "gimme gimme free stuff". I'm glad to see that at least a couple of them are being DQ'd because the vultures really do put a wet blanket on the fun.

It's a Buck Vantage and it's a great EDC. Takes a great edge and flips with a little wrist action plus it's made in the USA.
It's used and sharpened but still in great shape to use and should last for years.

I'll ask that you don't sell or store it - USE it or pass it on to someone that will.

I gave away 5 knives since this thread opened. Each member that received one has kept in touch, sent great pics and have become friends!!
When someone claims something, try getting to know them a little. A leech can't hide his colors and is easily found out.
There are many more great people here than bad and this thread is proving that.
