I just graduated from Cape May and this is my first unit actually. I want to go BM though!

I'd like to put a couple up today. A black plain edge Spyderco Tasman Salt, and a Spyderco Delica with Emerson Wave. I can email pics, but these look normal aside from some pocket clip wear.

Who claimed the second one? I ***think*** the spirit of the thread is not to give knives away, though that in itself is very generous. It is to give something away after you receive a knife that was given to you. Whomever just claimed the second one should be offering something up (hence, pay it forward), but we will never know if we don't know who claimed it.

If I am wrong on this point, someone just point it out to me and I can edit my text above. I do not want to derail the spirit and momentum of this thread.

I've been watching this thread and I'm just so proud to be a part of such a wonderful place. I've learned so much here and have been shown such generousity and selflessness that I would like to give back to the community that has given me so much.

I would like to offer this edc package up for the take here however I would like to see it go to someone who really could use it. I know when this thread was started the OP said he was making no rules but for this one I would like to see it go to someone who has been a member here at least since before this thread started. I've seen threads like this on different forums have some items taken by folks who just opened an account that very second and while I hope they got to good homes, I can't help but think that people may just jump onboard for a free item. Either way this thread has been great to see and I'm excited to offer this package up.

This is being given away as a package to serve as a nice little edc setup for someone who is in need.

Package includes:
Boker Lil Friend Neck Knife- Includes sheath and chain
Kershaw Scallion Assisted Folding Knife
Thrunite TI3 edc Flashlight 3 mode- Includes extra oring

All items have seen very very little carry time if any and all come in close to new condition with their boxes and paperwork.

It's important to me that these items go to preferably a contributing member that has been here for some time that really needs these things and will put them to good use.

I'm heading off to bed soon so if I don't respond tonight I will check in tomorrow to see who this is going to.

Not a claim, rather a question. What do you think of the light? I'm in the market for a new edc light and not really sure what I want. I have a Fenix E12 at the moment and I like the size and output but this is my second one in under a year. They just aren't durable enough for my needs.

Fenix makes great lights so if you're going thru them that fast then either you are getting lemons or you don't have the right light for your needs. Durability always points to Surefire, but they are expensive and don't necessarily put out a lot of lumens for the price you pay. But when you go to turn on the light it will always fire up so that's what you pay for.

I have many lights which many are Fenix and I have no issues with them at all. The build quality is great and they are excellent bang for the buck. I actually have the E12 in my backup bag so I haven't used it much. I have however used my Fenix LD09 quite a bit as well as my PD35 and both of those are great. The brands I own and have had the best luck with are Fenix, Olight, Eagletac, Nitecore, Maratac, Zebralight, and I like the little Lumintop Tool lights which I have in aluminum, copper, and titanium. I would suggest heading over to candle power forums and doing some research. There is a great group of people over there that are very knowledgable and helpful.
