So what is your interest been on here since you joined for free. Not too many people if any bought a cheap paid membership for bladeforums since this thread started. There has been a couple of ninjas come and go as well. What's the base membership 10 bucks or something. Just a tad more than the price of postage to ship a knife.

I can vouche for the otter he is a great guy that participate ' s in other forums. He contributes all he can. He's a hard working family oriented fellow. I haven't either paid for a membership does that make it wrong not to have a paid membership. I get there have been douchebag s just here to ruffle feathers. I see you're a knife maker with a great reason to have a paid membership. Otter will surely find his space on here just give the little bro time.

I agree with you and commented on his participation. To each his own on the membership. My two bits is that the membership is inexpensive. No its not required which is awesome as well. Just commented that I did not see any paid memberships with newby's and this thread. Which doesn't look good when we have a few new people post in this thread the majority of their short 30 or 60 day time here.

On my membership status. Which is 75.00 a year. I am a sheath maker. I have never charged anyone for making them a sheath. I have traded once or twice otherwise I have given them away.


I will consider Otter a member from here on out because he is active and we need active members. Did not mean to offend if I did. It was not intentional but in general.

I will always encourage membership. It's not a necessity by any means I just find for 10 bucks a year is reasonable.

That's right I am a July member. One of my very first posts was to offer up an XL cold steel voyager. Enjoying this forum but didn't join to get stuff. I appreciate that guys are offering things up here and will probably offer up other knives myself even though I've only been here since July

I agree great place to hang out and learn and network. I myself also make sheaths. . Fellow sheath maker. The 10 dollars is cheap. Though blade forums does not accept cash and I don't believe in credit card. As with my knife making and sheath making I don't charge I do like trading or making just because. So kudos brother. Otter is a young man interested in knife making and knowledge. I see your point about only posing in certain areas. I can assure you he is here for all the right reasons just like most of the great people here. I'd love to see your sheath work.

To be fair, you tried to claim a MT that was already claimed so Jerry offered that one in response. You had a PM combo I'm sure but it was still offered publicly on this thread. It was cool of him to do that. But then on page 68 it looks like you requested a second MT and a Kershaw Chive from TLE. Then you asked for the Link and then changed your mind. You gotta understand how it looks to people who don't know you. Not trying to bust your golf-balls bro, but it does look like you are offering something that people like, so don't mind me or anyone else. Sorry for any hard feelings.
 
Found another Id like to put up. Little Boker lockback with white bone slabs. Pretty smooth and locks up solid. Bought it to take on a trip and havent carried it since. Been sitting in my car console.
Post a claim and send me an e-mail or PM.

I said interest, not " I'd like to claim" I never pushed further, never claimed the item. I asked a few questions about it. That's it. I also passed on the Link when someone else, a longer standing member, wanted it. I've done my best to remain courteous to everyone here. Instead of getting mad like most my age when people starting giving me flak, I tried to calmly explain my situation. Sorry for even opening my mouth in the first place dude.
