Pay It Forward -- it's been a while

Hey guys! I'm new to the forum and knife collecting. The generosity spread here is awesome, and I want to be a part of it. I've got a brand new kershaw freefall. I'm sorry I chucked the box when it came in. Not sure if it's really appealing to anyone, but I'm sure I will be able to offer nicer pieces in the future.

So this is something different for me- A Boker Speedlock auto- I just (like two hours ago) found this in a thrift shop and had to grab it! I don't know why as I don't own any other autos and really am not comfortable carrying them. However it seems to be a well made knife, but I would literally never carry it, so hopefully I can pass it on to someone who would use it. Here's the bad part- it is well used! The blade is a combo edge, missing some coating and has been sharpened....uh kind of poorly. The rest of the knife is in decent shape, and feels very solid, there is no side to side play, but a little "vertical" play. It fires hard! I don't know a lot about autos, but it seems with a little work, this could be an everyday user for someone. Or if you just want it for parts, or whatever, that's cool too. Comes with what seems to be the original sheath.

Like I said, I do not know much about autos, so please figure out your local laws, regulations, etc. before saying you want it. I don't want anybody to run into any problems.

Welcome to the forum and to the thread Nyc!
The inexpensice Kershaw knives are great users and make a great knife for someone stepping up from "gas station" quality knives and for folks that need a knif they aren't afraid to scratch.

You're off to a good start so far.

That Freefall looks like it has a very EDC style tanto. I would be real tempted, but I rather it go to someone that needs it more.

I've always been interested in an auto, and I hear boker is a decent brand. Mind if I snag this one anybody?

IMHO, You've more than earned your place here in your short time with us. Hopefully you and the other quality new members this thread has drawn in will stay with us for a while.

Had injury been away. Ebony here waxed tip if anyone needs raw knife making material.

I would love to claim this if no one else is interested. I'm working on a knife for my dad right now for father's day and think this would look great on it.
