While I am at it.... I had all but forgotten about this thread! I still have my cool girl scout silverware set available and will add in a very nice titanium toothpick with kydex "sheath"/keyring. Let me know if you want them and I will get them right out! US shipping only

Can I claim these? I'm on the road constantly for work. These would be a lot handier to keep in the vehicle than a plastic spork.

Saber Cat- It's my first time checking back into this thread, but I want you to know I had emailed you on Feb 17th. I have the email showing in my sent box as sent in reply to your email to me through BFC.

I am not writing this to dispute you in some way, and I'm not upset that the MT will go to someone else. I'm sure it was an inadvertence, and when I didn't hear back from you I certainly could have come back this thread to check so I'm at least as much to blame for not doing as much as I could on my part. I just don't want you to think that I did not appreciate your gesture, or that I "ghosted" you in some way. Certainly not my intent.
I greatly appreciate that you assembled the Gerber intending to send to me. It was very kind of you.

Nope. You're not stuck. You're doing a nice thing by participating in this thread and doing a "pay it forward." I really hold no bad feelings, or anything. I chalk it up to a miscommunication. No need to take care of me. No worries at all! Send it to bralexander with a clear
conscious.
And for my part, I do apologize for not following up my email when I didn't hear back. Thinking about it in retrospect, I should have checked in here and seen if you had replied on the thread.

Oh man... this is getting interesting! Just for the "record", if 19-3ben still wants the Gerber, than it can certainly go to him, with no qualms from me:) This thread is one of the nicest on the forums and I have participated both in giving and receiving already (a couple times). SabreCat, you in no way "owe" me anything, so please don't feel bad.

On a side note- SabreCat, there is really something wrong with your email. I emailed you through the forum link and it didn't come through and then I emailed you direct to the email address you posted, but I am not sure if you received that one either. I don't know if there is anything you can "fix" on your end (my technological knowledge is pretty limited) but I thought you should know and 19-3ben should know it wasn't just him!

This is easy enough to resolve, send someone the Gerber and I'll send the other a Leatherman Wingman. Then everybody who wanted a good MT gets a good MT.
 
Well, I have actually had a Wingman in the past and moved it on to a new home... I just wasn't in love with it. SO, all things considered I would like to try the Gerber if that's ok with everyone.

Bryce, that is very kind of you to offer and it may be the solution to our problem.

13-9ben, You wanted one for use in an office, right? Bruce, how do you plan to use yours?


Here are the reasons I am asking these questions:

1. The Gerber I have available does not have scissors.

2. I may have a line on a black finish military issue Gerber. The key word here is may.

3. Both of you will have a chance to get one from me just because. For one of you, it may take a while, though.

Can I safely assume that Bruce will take the Gerber and 13-9ben will get the Leatherman?

If so I will send 139ben a Gerber when I can get another one built.
