Wait a minute, I'm going to get the Leatherman from TLE, and then a gerber from you when it becomes available? I feel like that would be making a double withdrawal from the karma bank?

I already didn't expect anything out of this, so Saber Cat's understanding, Bralexander getting an MT, and now TLE's kindness, and me ending up with the Leatherman is more than enough. If another MT comes up, either enjoy it yourself, or let someone else get to enjoy. I consider myself taken care of more than I had anticipated.

From what I understand so far I will take the Gerber from you, 13-9ben will take the Wingman from TLE(Bryce) and everyone will be good.

I am still not sure how to contact you(sabrecat), because I know you didn't get my first email, and I am not sure if you received the second. I need to get you my address and get your paypal info, to cover shipping.

As a side note, if I like the Gerber, it will ride along on my mountain bike as part of my tool kit, as I am trying to get a lot more off-road time in this year! If, for some reason, it isn't going to work for me, I will repost it here so it can be passed along.

Hopefully that clears up everything on my side.

That is the plan. The only reason you don't already have it is because of a snfu.

Keep in mind that because your MT is going to Bruce, it is not "and", more like if it becomes available. Does that make you feel any better?

I have built about ten, maybe twelve, multi-tools over the last couple of years. Had loads of fun doing it, too. It all started with a desire to have a custom MT that would meet my personal needs. Now I have a blunt nose Gerber with a tool set that is not offered as normal production, a compact MT for when space & weight are issues, and a third MT destined for my 72 hour bag. The rest have all gone to friends or people at work.

I am happy with what I now have but, would like to fine tune things a bit. It all depends upon I can find. Very low priority though. Money is super tight right now because my daughter is away at school and my wife has been off work with a shoulder injury. Having her not work a year has drained our savings. Fortunately, she is now back at work but it will take time to build up our bank accounts.

Ok y'all, I've been on the receiving end of some very generous BF member's *cough AlwaysTomboy* *cough WhittlinAway* *cough palonej* so I am going to offer up what I think is a decent blade that I couldn't help myself so I bought it. Carried once, razor edge. I just find myself grabbing a Spyderco and a small traditional each day and this guy sits home alone.

Up for grabs is a beautiful CRKT Drifter XL frame-lock.

Ignore the Viva tool and that Chinese thing, I'm keeping those ;)

I just finished assembling your Gerber MT. It was a fun job to build. I hope you enjoy it.
