Have you been able to claim anything Ben? I can see why someone would make a claim on a dozen EDC knives - cause they're looking for an EDC knife and everything goes super fast on here. I haven't saw what you've tried to claim, and I don't feel like looking back through the thread - but if you haven't been able to claim anything and are just looking for a simple knife, let me know.

i have really enjoyed being a member of this forum the short time i have been here, and found plenty of good information here even before joining. While i will admit i regret going to the whine and cheese forum rolleyes: I know i was warned!) the rest of the forums i have been to have been awesome.
So, here are some items i would like to contribute the pif thread. If you can't see it well enough, the coin in the picture for size reference is a quarter. Have another knife i may post later, i'll see whether i get any interest in these or not.

knife comes with sheath and strap (not in picture) that buckles to sheath.

this knife is 98% and comes with box. Carried once or twice and that is it, no heavy cutting.

OutdoorsFamilyMan4 - I have a Leatherman Kick Multi-tool in good shape if that would work for your sister's survival kit.
I was going to post it up here in a few days open to anyone, but since you mentioned that you needed one for your sister's Christmas Gift, I thought I'd offer it up to you first. I can't think of a better thing to claim something for than a gift for someone who means a lot, and I'm always impressed with another woman who likes the things we're all into lol.

I also wanted to post a HUGE thank you to Raindog! I got the BK-11 yesterday and absolutely love it.
I'm going to get a new Kydex sheath made for it since this one is a little loose and I figured if I get a taco style one it'll be a bit smaller as well. =]
I love this little fixed blade. I'm slowly becoming hooked lol.

Also with the Monster Friction Folder that Mr.BadExample sent me, I'm planning to get the handles redone completely to make it more pocketable and EDC friendly. It won't be until after Christmas, but I'm very excited! =]

Small update everyone:

I've sent out the Trident and mini-Grip I PiF'ed. I know I still owe two Opinels and a Kudu that are promised.

I haven't sent them out yet as I've been busy and it's been cold (I can't drive so I shamble over to the post office) but those are still coming and I haven't forgotten about those I gave them to, I promise.

I just got the old chive in the mail. It is on its way to kershaw for a tune up and sharpening as it really needed it LOL. I will post a pic when it gets back with a new torsion bar and tune up.
