Pay it Forward-The Remake Part 4

I know in Utah there's a bounty you can collect by bringing in the ears.

These are all some really sexy ARs. Eventually I'm sure I'll venture into the gun world. But for now I'm content with all things sharp and pointy.

We kill cyotes here in NC because they are a non native, invasive species that do quite a bit of damage to farmer's chickens, sheep, and even small cows. We bait them with wet dog food and a dying game call. The last few years, I have been smoking them with a Browning lever rifle in .270.

I hunt 'yotes here cause they're a nuisance, about 3 weeks ago I was tracking the biggest one I've ever seen but the only place I even had line-of-sight didnt have a known safe area behind him.

He really wasnt even scared of me in the middle of the day, he wasn't running from me, just doing his thing down the tree line, I followed him about 3/4 mile and only right at the end did I get a glimpse or him, at that point I couldn't take the shot and it was actually pretty scary, he was sizing me up, I decided then instead of riskin it trying to move to a safe shot I would just scare him off and come back. This thing was huge!

Where I live there aren't many but there are some and they seem to like the woods around me. I have a small dog and I caught one stalking while I was with her outside. If I hadn't been out there with her I'm sure the coyote would have gotten her. But a tactical light and an arrow that clipped it seems to have kept it away for good. No signs of it since then (almost a year ago), but I've seen some small ones roaming around a bit.

I don't need a stinking AR!!!!! :D My 9130 will do!

I love how dark yours is, I Know lots of people feel differently but I think the lighter colored ones are freaking ugly. I've had a few Mossins but don't anymore. What scope mount is that, did it require drilling & tapping?
They're quite a pain to shoot lol but fun none the less. How's your bolt, did it take any work to get it smooth or did you get a good one to start with? My first (an $89-had to clean the cosmolien off yourself- sale) had a rediclously sticky bolt, you couldn't even cycle it when hot, after quite a bit of work polishing and tweaking i did get it alot better but eventually I gave up and sold it then got a nicer 91/38 (Russian carbine) and its bolt was so much better.

I do like how cheap they are to shoot, do you clean your surplus ammo before use? That's another little trick to having a more enjoyable time at the range with them, windex and a scouring pad works very well, windex is also what I used to clean the bore after each use cause of the corrosive ammo.

So I told you how big of a fan of Bear G. my son is. But I believe that he is starting to come around. This evening while the family was getting ready to carve pumpkins he asked if he could pull my daypack out of the closet & draw the patch I told him sure & this is what his pumpkin turned out like

I believe Santa is going to have to bring him an Izzula II for that one. Sorry guys just wanted to share !

mosin nagant for the win! I picked up an M44 (carbine length) a few years ago for 30 bucks. I think I probably shot about 3000 rounds of the old sardine can corrosive ammo through it. My buddy and I were um...bored, and cut it down to around 10 inches and chicken headed the stock. It was like a bolt action pirate gun. I ended up burning it in my fire pit.

Correct there is a $50 per set bounty. They are a huge pest out here to farmers and they are endangering the deer population so the bounty was raised. Only thing that sucks is Utah is such a gun happy state every one and their dog goes Yote hunting, which educates the Yotes and makes them difficult to hunt. Still alot of fun though.

ALLHSS - The Watch is yours. Whora!? - I know you sent me an email, but ALLHSS's time stamp is before the email, so it's his, very sorry.
Ranger, you can have one lanyard and Lobo13 gets the other. He wrote me an email first but you showed interest here first so I thought the best way was to split them up and let each of you have one. =]

ALLHSS - Email me your address, I will get it out ASAP.
Lobo and Ranger, I emailed you both back.
Lobo - You have first choice on what skull you want, Ranger gets the other. I'm sure you guys will be happy with either but since you were the first to write, you get first choice.

Ranger - As soon as I hear from Lobo, I will let you know what skull bead you get. =]

Watch and Lanyards are claimed.

I actually just claimed something, so I defer the watch to whora. I appreciate it though.

EDIT: let's figure this whora?! brother thing out first. Either his previous actions (which I experienced) were not his fault, or he just stepped to a new level of not cool.

Awesome Raindog - Surprised it took that long to get there. Its pretty nice right? Glad to see it getting messy.

USPS seems to be slow recently. I love rough riders though. Someone claimed my granddaddy Barlow as a first traditional, I think it'll be a fine introduction. Not perfect fit, but they still look and work well.

Yes it is. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but I really like it. Perfect size, nice walk n talk, and blades look very functional. Thank you again. This will be my oldest daughter's in another year or 2.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. And USPS has been horribly slow in my neck of the woods. Taking about 8-10 days for first class parcels to arrive.

You can defer the watch to me and id love it! :D lol

If it really was his little brother, then he didn't claim the watch, right?

I've got a couple of pairs of cheaper Adidas Soccer cleats up for grabs. Dont wanna dig em up for sizes right now and dont know if anyones interested, theyre certainly not better than any pair someone may have already but work just fine and are for medium-firm pitch.

Email me your size if Interested and I'll see for a fit. One pair is mine and Sony's should be about 11-11.5 (U.S.) , the other were left on a field one day and I brought em home so I don't know the size

This is the "scout mount". It has all the micro adjust set screws on it. Nothing more than removing the sight blade. It is rock solid if installed correctly. I took the scope off of my Dan Wesson 44 mag.
This Mossin is a 1940 armory re-build. The bolt is super smooth. I checked 39 rifles before I picked this one. It is PERFECT. Like brand new! The shop got in 75 guns and he let me dig in them all day to find one I wanted. Best $100 I ever spent!!!

I use the old corrosive ammo. Just soak your bore and barrel with Windex (with ammonia) at the end of the day and you will NOT have any issues.

Just sitting here watching cartoons..... giggle giggle...... me go ahead now and claim someones knives ok, thank you i can post me address and everyone just start shipping me the stuff ok, thank you.
