My sons birthday is friday really, he is turning 5 on November 1st.

My daughter's 8th birthday is on November 1, but she doesn't want anything cool like a robot dog. All she wants is American Girl garbage:barf:. But she does like knives (has a Mora), so I guess she's OK:D

That looks pretty cool Worldwood.

Thanks man, I think it looks cool as heck, im tempted to rip it open and play with it now, I even watched some videos of it and everything, it looks like a cool toy for real, i think he is going to love it. I hope anyway LOL

I have a harbor freight folding torx set I'll send you, its not the greatest. Lets put it those way, I spent $9 on the set (including 2 other hex ones) and used it one time and while it got the job done i went back out to Home Depot and bought the $6 husky tool the next time I needed to take a knife apart. I'll be happy to send it to ya, I still got your addy.

Cheap or not doesnt bother me, i want to switch the pocket clip around on the folder but i dont have the right tool. i tried an allen wrench in similar size but it almost stripped the screw. So if you dont need it or use it I could for sure use it, but i also dont want to put you out on shipping charges so dont do priority or anything just snail mail it if you dont need it and i truly appreciate it again man.

I'm giving Whora the benefit of the doubt. Either way, we should keep any mocking to a minimum before the whole thread gets in trouble...

Sorry bud i couldnt resist, My post was more out of humor than anything though. rock on, ill leave him alone!

Hey guys this probably is not the place for this but i really want to start hunting do guys have recommendations for a bow and some arrows. Beginner please this would be my first bow i would need to get a hunting license but whatever also at a reasonable price

Don't sweat it i am cool i figured it was meant to be funny

I've got a bunch of old aluminum arrows worldwood, but I have a pretty short draw length (26.5), be more than happy to send them if they are long enough for you

Well i think my draw is between 27 and 28, but i didnt have an arrow to get an accurate draw length, i just used the measuring wing-span method. I mean Im ITCHING to try this bow out so id love to try 1 or 2 anyway to see maybe they might be long enough. I put the bow together every night and smile at her just to take her back down, If i dont shoot her soon she might pack a bag and leave LMAO

Awesome coincidence, Happy birthday to your little girl. My daughter is 7, boys are so much easier.

The bow i just got is supposed to be an excellent bow for the price at entry level and even up. I went to multiple archery forums and explained i had a low budget due to xmas, but i wanted a high quality recurve bow. The Samick sage was suggested almost exclusively, and im talking from multiple places still i heard.. get the samick sage. So i read reviews, watched videos, sold a nice watch, and bought a samick sage.

PM me your address (sorry i don't have it anymore), what the hell maybe they will be long enough? :)

I always leave them an extra inch or so longer than the arrow rest on my compound bows, so they may just work

Wow, 24hrs and this thread advances 10 pages! I had trouble finding my original post. stvpourciau, if you want them, shoot me a PM with your mailing info.

Thanks but no thanks, send them to cammo ninja so he can rip em through some hog meat ;)

I'd like to suggest that you don't use arrows too short for your draw. Getting a full draw and consistent mounting point on your face is crucial to accuracy.

Cheap carbon fiber arrows can be had at Walmart during hunting season for 3$ a piece , as well as a box of 125gr field points for another $3.

Please don't start out on the wrong foot

Agreed, not certain if any of mine are the right length, but they may work out. I'll walk my fellow W through sizing them correctly (i am an archer with 20 years of experience), if they don't work out no harm done

Cheapest i found already put together with feathers was 6 for 30. And thats not bad at all, I plan to get some once i finish up XMAS shopping.

But I still need to figure out my draw more accurately as well and an arrow will help. Man honestly at this point i just want to sling a couple arrows before the snow hits.

In sure you're correct, 28 is my draw length and a quite average one at that
