Thanks man, just let me know, I was pretty upset about it getting lost, its the first package I've sent out from all these threads that's gotten lost. I know he was excited to give it to his brother and I was excited another piece of my work was gonna be out in a soldiers pocket possible saving his life one day (or atleast helping him work).

Btw I also polished the spine/ swedge and the bevels so it was really a pretty knife! Someone at the PO got one heck of a knife, I just hope whoever got it knows what the wave is and how it functions.

Karma being what it is, the person that has this now, will probably hurt themselves with it and curse the day they decided to take it.

Yea the guy handed me an empty envelope and I said to him that there was supposed to be a knife in here, he said sorry and it's not in the truck. I had him hold the envelope and tooks pics to send to Whetstone.
 
Like I said earlier, I think USPS and probably UPS recently have alot of knives and/or gear in there hands with all the stuff being sent out on these PIF threads. I have been waiting for a few items to show up myself and soon will consider them re-gifted to and by the USPS staff! :)
 
That picture really hacked me off, karma will repay that thief i am sure. I had another that i thought was stolen, but was really only temporarily lost. It went to lionesser originally, but found its way to Wolf_HR, who really likes it i think. So definitely some good karma there!

Was the envelope cut, torn or did it look like the glue sealing it came apart? Not that it makes a difference, I am just curious.

The packaging has that thick bubble wrap stuff on the inside, it had to be cut. When i showed the picture to the UPS person she immediately typed "pilfered" on the claim
 
Ha, i just looked at my post count, it was 43 when the first PIF thread started and i had been here for 8 months:D
 
I lost an 875 Sentinel once to a UPS employee I am sure. Tracking # said it was left at my door. It wasn't. It had been sent in to Benchmade for lifesharp service and on the return trip didn't make it to me. CS at Benchmade made it right though. They sent me a new knife and some other goodies to make up for the loss. Benchies are very nice knives, but thier CS sealed me to them forever :thumbup:

Worldwood and the guy who got my first sharpener (from Brooklyn, don't remember your forum name) your packages will both be there tomorrow if they didnt make it already. Whetstone, worldwood, NYOutdoors & Sir HC your packages will go out Friday.

Lobo13, I just got the welding lenses and already fitted one in my helmet. I have been welding years, I learned at my first wrench'n job at 16, got better and bought a small mig, played around with that plus the nicer ones at work and got better yet and bought my current Millermatic but I had to google what the soapstone was used for, I never knew that, I'll defiantly start using it immediately!

I tried photographing the tritium but nothing showed up, ill try again when it gets dark!!!

It's not so much asking for stuff, like anybody got a ZT they want to give me, kinda thing. People have been putting up all kinds of things, from knives to watches and anything in between. If someone post something that they are giving away, and you can use it, you post that you would like it. You don't have to give anything away, but it is nice when you do. You can put up anything at all that you would like to give away. If someone needs it they will let you know. Give something away to someone who needs it and it feels really good.
 
Unfortunately I must join the crowd who's packages were lost/stolen. I sent Crazyengineer a Queen #77 skinner that he was quite excited about. Well it never arrived and although it had tracking/insurance my Wife accidentally threw away the receipt when she cleaned out my truck. Does anybody have a decent skinner they could send his way? I can forward his info if so.

This is just not cool :grumpy: Probably see some of the lost stuff end up on the bay...
 
jlong1234, your Crawford Benchmade is shipped and should be there Friday.

Tiogatires your Rat 1 is shipped and should be there this weekend.

My apologies these took SO long to ship, work has been crazy busy :eek:
