Yeah it made it safely. It got me thinking it might be pretty cool to make a V sharpening system, like a lansky crock set, with 2 of them, but I guess it takes so little material off its not really that necessary. Thanks again.

Im very happy with it, it chops far better than i thought it would for its size. Ive already taken it out in the woods a couple times now.

I have a 2-3 person kelty somewhere, can't remember the model. I don't use it anymore because i got tired of the group i go on canoe trips with calling it the Taj Mahal. Let me see if i can dig it up this weekend

Lmbo, you guys are awesome.

I don't know anything about tents so Idk which one is better but whichever one will last longer, I will humbly accept. Thank you guys, you are the greatest! :) heart warming actually.

Does either tent have windows?
 
Also rain is a huge issue here in La, my old tent leaked pretty badly before the tears lol.

So if either is waterproof, that helps too
 
I sealed the seams on mine, so while no tent is 100% waterproof, this one is pretty close. it does have windows and a rain fly, but i need to find it first. Stay tuned, i should know something saturday (probably).

Thanks whet, sounds good. I'll also keep an ear open for what gung ho has but that sounds awesome and need filing.
 
No worries, if Gung Ho's is a better deal by all means please take him up on his generous offer. I think when i find the kelty i will also find a long lost Ka-Bar i wanted to offer anyway :D

it has a couple minor qc "quirks" but im not the type to get caught up in that it does however hold a very good edge, and is very sharp. I am impressed and it matches my grandfathers old Queen folder.
I'll take a pic but it looks like someone may have forgotten to hit the bottom of it just behind the blade with the sander.
 
I have an old Barlow like that one, it was my grandfathers.

No worries. I wanted to make sure USPS did the job properly though they usually do. Glad you are a huge Rat fan. They are solid knives and I hope the Rat 1 serves you well. Enjoy.
