OK, I can't resist any longer, and if no one else has claimed it, I'd love a closer look at the little SS Truper Lockback. It looks like quality.

I don't actually know the model, it is large-ish, partially serrated near the guard, grey coated blade with a black handle, polymer sheath, military looking. I am honestly not as disorganized as it may seem, but i love outdoor gear and am unwise in my spending habits in this endeavor

I can't think of any blade that's "grey coated" out of the newer models (post 96)

But my 1st thought is that you have either the discontinued Stainless Next Generation or Current D2 extreme fighting knife
 
When (if) i find it, one of you experts will be able to identify it i am sure. I remember it being a great knife, just too big for me at the time

No, no, send it to me and save yourself the denial ;) lol

Of course! Its as good a knife as any, a very capable modern kabar. It didnt sell so good because a lot of guys weren't keen on the stainless (aus6) but I like the idea. It was replaced with the same knife in D2 steel.

That's a good dig if you offer it up, a very nice utility knife.

Someone will jump on it, I would jump on it but I don't need it.

Nice, ok what brand: available are ESEE, Gerber, Tops, Buck, the MIA Ka-Bar (if i find it), and Cold Steel. Whaddya think?
 
I always wanted to try a tops, also wouldnt mind a buck fixed blade, can i just go shopping thru your list LMAO
