So that was pretty good. But just last week, my buddy found an Endura 4 at the local pawn shop for $10. That was a very nice score.

Well, I imagine the guy thought it was a gas station special. Probably never heard of Spyderco, hard as that is to believe for us knife knuts. Well, time has gone on, and I haven't payed anything forward in a while, so I got a few things here. Free to a good home.

The Cryo is one that Gung Ho sent me. Rode in the wife's purse for a week. When I asked her if she had any use for it, she said not really, she'd like something not so heavy, and not a flipper. So it's back to the drawing board for me, and this is back in circulation. The Boker CLB used to be my JIC knife, but I got a Subclaw that I like better. The clip is off, but I can put it back on if you like. At the bottom is a kydex firesteel loop, for an army-sized firesteel. I'd like to include it with one of the knives, to save mailing an extra package. Email or PM me if you want any of this.

I have asked for and gotten a couple of things in this PIF thread... but if its okay, can I ask for the Cryo?
 
Paid it forward twice claimed once never received anything, so i would like to claim the cryo if that's ok.

I've been digging the thread to look for a guy who mentioned getting a cryo or similar flipper knife for his girlfriend's username and come back to 2 claims :D

I must be an odd man because I just dont get no jollies from the site of those kershaw type knives and AR15s.

I think its because I'm a wood man, just traditional.

I prefer the feel an Opinel and a wood stocked Browning 30-06, 5 rounds is just enough enough for me for some reason.

The pawn shops here all apparently Google every item they get and try to price it between used and new price, leaning heavily towards new. I thought all pawn shops did this. "I'll give you $100 for that $1000 watch, then I'll turn around and sell it for $900 and tell people they're getting a deal".

Also to PIF I have a Gerber Ridge knife in great condition. Awesome little backup blade and works very well.

All I ask is that if you claim it, you plan to use it.

Yeah, that's how I thought they did it, so I'm not sure what happened there. I have seen some what I thought were underpriced knives there before, but that was ridiculous.

Thought I should mention: my fiancee is just beyond smitten with the small knives. Here's the cool thing: she actually uses them! If I give her even a 3" blade folder, it will sit and rot at the bottom of her purse and she will use a pen to open something instead. The little guys get used. That's why I want that little Boker!

Sechip, I feel bad that you didn't receive your item, but I went with Jjoanty for the Cryo, since he was first. I guess that's the only criteria I really have, since having to decide subjectively gets me down. Darn, wish I had more than one to give away!
 
If you want to throw the firesteel loop in my package I'll attach it to one of my kydex sheaths, if jjoanty wants it, that's okay too!

That Boker is perfect for that. What I like best about those knives, is that since they're square, they never lie crosswise in your pocket. That's why the clip is off, since it's just perfect for deep pocket carry. I figured I'd put the clip back on, unless you want me to send it loose in a baggie?

ETA: OK, you have the firesteel loop coming your way.
 
RainDog, thank you... but after careful consideration, I will retract my request on the Cryo. I feel that SBK or SeaChip could use it more than I. My little Kershaw Shuffle that I was PIF'd here, has grown a special place in my EDC lineup and I wouldn't want the Cryo to take its place. Thank you again!

Yeah that factored in heavily on my retraction. If I find myself needing one, I will buy one :thumbup:

Well, that's real nice of you, and just proves even more that very fine people inhabit this thread. So, with apologies to spydercobenchmadekai, I'm gonna send this one to Sechip, to pop his "getting" cherry.

Nah that don't make you old, (maybe you are tho?), one of the AR's posted here is mine and while I love it and enjoy shooting it my favorite gun to shoot will always be my old browning lever gun and my dad's old 1911! There's just something about a 1911 and about having to lever it between shots!

The BAR (the original) is my all time favorite gun and nothing will ever knock it off that pedistal, I just won't ever own one (ill NEVER own one of those new SA BAR repo's) and ill never afford a real BAR so my most lusted after gun (which is actually obtainable) is an AUG. I will have one some day (and not the microtech MSAR clone either!) they should have stuck to knives, not ripping off a BA rifle that turned out to be a huge POS and bankrupted them.
