I took a look and I see what you mean...

To get this thread back on track I'm putting this up. It's a Magpul Miad AR grip, comes with a B2(med) backstrap, and the med front strap with finger separator. To claim it just let me know what AR setup you plan to use it on. I can ship usps at the end of next week- Jason

Ive got an Olympic Arms 10mm AR that could use some help in the grip department

Man, if its not too much to ask, when you set it up, shoot a video of how to do it for me so I'll be somewhay literate of how to use the rain fly properly and such.

I never learned any of that stuff, just cram the piles through the tie outs and wrap the fly in the outside

Not really capable of video, but it is super simple. Cross the poles over the top one at a time, clip them in place, arrange the rainfly until it covers the whole thing, clip it in place, and voila you are done. At least that is what i do, i'll try to take some pics for ya
 
Is that the grip that has the different (swappable) inserts to hold stuff (batteries or a spare firing pin)? If so I'd actually like it for the AR I posted in this thread, the grip is the one cheap part I have, a blackhawk brand and its compartment is just a tad to small to fit batteries.

Its a colt 6920 upper/lower & BCG
15.5" light profile barrel with pinned flash suppressor
Rock river CAR free float kit
ACE skelton entry stock
EOTech 512
VLTOR light mount / foursevens quart tactical
Cheap hand grip.

I've ran into an issue with it. Apparently CRKT overdid the loctite on some of the screws so I haven't been able to fully disassemble it. Also, the scale on the lockbar side has broken off. I can still do things as planned and I've already anodized the handles and clip and it came out great but I need to find a way to either replace the scale or make the frame side more comfortable. I can change the tension of the clip and round off the sharp steel edges which might come out pretty cool but first I'm going to look into getting a new scale. Maybe CRKT Customer service can send me a new one. Either way it'll be brought right back here for whoever wants it. I'll try to post a pic of the anodizing later so you can see the progress.

CK you missed out by 2 minutes. I do have a Magpul AFG I'm not using if you think you could use it on the Colt... Just let me know
 
I could use that AFG if C K doesn't want it.

Also, that fire steel loop is all yours, Gung Ho

You know I've had an AFG on my list and off my list over and over, since you'd offering it I'd love to finally try one out with the stipulation that I'll send it on to raindog if I don't like it. Ive heald rifles with them at shows and stuff gun never for an extended period of time and never shot with one.

Its gotta help I'd think, about anything has to be better than the sharp corners of a metal quad rail.

Hey guys this is my first pif so nothin fancy. I'm pretty sure its called a grass hand sickle. I never really used it but there is some rust on it from sitting in my basement. Great for light vegetation. First post saying " ill take it" gets it.
