Oh absolutely. I need employment fast lol.

Good luck to yourself as well.

Btw, I reprofiled the crap out of that blade. There's no more of that glossy coat, that's for sure. Even part of the black is scratched a little.

Its nearly a scandi grind at the moment and I'll take it all the way with use.
So you straightened out the convex bevel? Nooooo. Convex beats scandi for woodwork and food prep, ie no shoulder at the top of the bevel.

Some people work better with scandi though.

I won't mind giving that CRKT Ringed Razel a try as a new EDC fixed blade

I am truly blessed and there is not a lot I really need or want for for that matter. I hesitated for obvious reasons, but ever since Eagle posted a pic of his Bk9 back in thread 2, my "Jonesing" for micarta scales for my BK7 has been renewed. I don't need them in the least, but man o man, does that bring a knife to the next level. Never have liked the Grivory factory scales. I know there are several Beckerheads that are regulars in here. A good used set would be great, just adds character.

Thanks, nite folk.

What the heck. While I'm at it, I'll make the Boker M-Type available as well. The blade has lots of scratches and the scale was opened up and scalloped to allow better access to the thumb stud and lock bar.

Woops.. I don't know anything about convexed edges bro, sorry.

All I know is that it wasn't carving the way I wanted out the box so I did my thing.

I like scandi, its a major selling point for me. I'm really sorry I messed up your handiwork man

You put the buck smidgen back up already? I was still hoping to ask the other guy who was in here looking for an edc.

I'm sorry man I'm just trying to get this stuff moving. No one seems to want to claim anything at the moment so if you want it you can then pay it forward. I just need to ship everything at once and someone is already waiting for a Leek from me.

that looks like a plush ride! Email me your address and I'll get it out early next week. I carried it a lot and I found it very useful, hopefully you will too.

Ha! I've been feeling the same way :D

My athletic tape handle wrap adds character too though :)

Did you see the Boker a page back. Don't know if that would be something the other guy would be looking for but it does look cool

That SAK is amazing RemyKaze!
Thanks, it's pretty simple to do.

Most Condors come like that. Not my handiwork. It's the same as scandi only without the harsh angle where the bevel meets the rest of the blade. People like it because it will slide wood apart instead of getting wedged. But it can be a PITA to sharpen without stropping.

That looks awesome. You did that with a woodburning tool?
Yup, just used the pen tip and tattooed the surface. Can't leave it in one place for more than half a second or so, or it will spread/burn.

Did the same to my Becker BK16 scales. It definitely makes them more attractive when they latch on to your hand. I love the ipe scales I bought for it but I still thinking about putting the factory ones on now and then.

I have to go build a crib now. My Wife and I are expecting our first child in about six weeks and we have finally cleaned out the spare room. It is now time to fill it with His stuff. Wish me luck guy's, the Vic Tinker will be right there with me. I hope the instructions are in English! :)
