We don't know each other yet but I would like to offer this Boker MA-2. I bought it for EDC but it could not dislodge the old Calypso Jr. The only requirement is curiosity...

I am just now being able to catch up. Thanks for being vigilant back there, BTW. I'm going to have to give the kid the benefit of the doubt with the Wingman. In the meantime, sounds like PaulTR could use a multi tool. Let's keep our eyes peeled.

I really don't know, i have been exposed to so much in the PIF threads that my tastes are rapidly evolving. Hope that makes some kind of sense? Blades and features and sharpening techniques i never would have been exposed to otherwise. I am heading to the shop to look at a bunch of stuff that i have been alerted to here. Might even pick up something for the thread too. I truly appreciate it my friend, but i am happy to give and enjoy the thread for now.

Hey Myke! I got the Opinel! Its gorgeous! I immediatly stropped, (habit) and brought out a stick to start wittling on. Ill tell you right now me and this classy little blade are going to get along just fine(;

I certainly do. I have a few more things to offer up and I'll start with a Buck Vantage. Since Whetstone so graciously passed the Opinel on to me I would like him to get first dibs on this. If he isn't interested then it will be first come.

(Note: Only the Buck is available currently.)


I also have a PS3 game if anyone is interested.
 
Lets play a little game..... I have a CRKT Ringed Razel up for grab. I love this knife, and the first day I had it I decided that anything near me that day that needed to be cut was go under the blade of my Razel. Well, I got careless and I sliced open my wrist, literally missing a vein by a couple tenths of a millimeter! So, my wife said to me tonight, that if im going to give away a knife it has to be this one so maybe ill survive my overwhelming addiction..... on to the game:
first "I'll take it" accompanied by a picture of a "mixte" framed bicycle gets it.

One warning, the edge needs to be re-profiled I believe? Because I tried to do it myself and then a friend who apparently knew less than I did made it worse. So, it is not pretty but it is loved.....

Thanks Bear! I am definitely interested but am loving that newer people are joining and paying it forward, so someone new who hasn't participated: this BUCK's for you! Grab it, pay forward something else, make someone else happy, rinse and repeat! ;)

Btw, I reprofiled the crap out of that blade. There's no more of that glossy coat, that's for sure. Even part of the black is scratched a little.

Its nearly a scandi grind at the moment and I'll take it all the way with use.
