Gotta ask, what kinda modding are you doing to one?

This will be the third opi I've modded, on this one I dropped the point so it's closer to a spear point, reshaping the handle and dye it a bright color and seal the wood. Should be pretty nice and different from most...

Those who know me from the other threads know that I'm not one to request an item here, but I do have one little question:
Does anyone have a spare bipod hanging around their junk drawer?
Mine busted yesterday at the range. Granted, it was a cheapie, but now I gotta replace it. Can anyone help?

Also if any of you guys make sheaths, or need them for anything else LOL, i have a bag full of eyelets and a couple eyelet tools that came with them. I dont remember the exact size LMAO, they are in a ziplock bag and i have had them a while. but if you need some eyelets with the tools that came with them let me know, and again just please be patient with shipping.

this is pay it forward and you should give before you get...

Agreed. The whole point is to give, not take. My view is that if you aren't prepared to pay it forward, kindly accept an item or two and move on. That way, more people have a chance to find something they need.

If you look back in the thread, you'll see that I'm one of the biggest opinel fanboys here, I posted a pic of my no 8 and even ordered a brand new one to a members house.

Its not a kai, but i have an old used S&W M&P folding knife that i got years ago to match my M&P pistol. The model is SWMP5LS and you can google it to see it. Its awesome looking, but the locking mechanism on its not great. Its plenty sharp but I sharpened it before i really knew what i was doing so the edge is not polished. the coating is worn as well. And the screws need tightening, i just dont have the tool needed to do it, i dont own one of those star looking screwdrivers.

All that being said it has an extremely fast flipping action and plenty of life left in it, But you would need to be careful with it because it opens when the safety is on. It might just need to be tightened, because it used to stay closed when the safety was on, so it could be a quick easy fix, i just dont have the tool to do it.

But if you want it, it would give you a great idea on fast opening folders. Just send me your address and ill ship it out after I get paid, Sorry man but i just cant ship anything right now, i just spent 95 at the post office yesterday on shipping boxes.

I honestly couldn't accept it with the thought that it would be affecting you financially. You're one of the most generous people in these threads and I have not only seen you gift lots of items, but also claimed items, not for yourself but for other people. I hope you can understand why I'm declining your offer.

I did some research after I posted this and it's spring assisted which isn't legal in the state I live in. It does look very awesome and I am flattered that you would offer it to me after all the kindness you've shown so many different people.

That file work is some of the coolest modification i've seen on an opi.

Thanks, it was easy to do, just measure, mark it out out and cut with a triangle file and the round ones were cut with a dremel type tool and sanding wheel.
