Good thing as I am hurling expletives of surprise at the screen right now! My dad's gonna flip when he sees that blade.

I have a usmc or two to choose from if you're interested.

Here is the other side.....

I did a Google search of some keywords, and the majority of the results were Hinderers. I'm going to bank on the 0.0000000000000000000000001% chance that it's a Hinderer.

But as of now, I admit defeat for trying to guess what it is. That "best" clue is gonna kill me until I find out :p

Fun fact, searching for "green flipper" gets you lots of pictures of dolphins...huh.

Haha, called it!

WOW. Man come on you have a chance now to help another, why does it matter how bad he needs it?

How bad do you need everything you asked for?

the reason I ask is I only have 2 folders that one and a friction folder that I made out of scraps. if he has bunches of folders then he does not need it, but I kind of do, but I feel like I need to give something back and I have some other stuff but he asked for it!

This thread is great. I've been reading it the last few days and find it has restorative qualities for my faith in my fellow man. I am apprehensive to participate because I don't know how to post pictures. I hope to have a friend teach me soon. You guys are great.

what model one is the best to have? :)

I never owned one, however I did look at the fixed blade ones for quite awhile but never pulled the trigger!

Impossible To answer

Its best to request a catalogue from the website. Drool over every model for awhile, mull over what some critetia you have are in the old noggin. Pick the 10 that you like the most, narrow that down to the 5 that are best for you, whittle it down to the 2 or 3 you can't live without, chose one... and then get then all anyway :D lol because your 1st choice won't be the right one for some reason but any choice is a good choice.

Also, do not ignore the Beckers, they too are in the catalogue

You should try the Christmas Exchange--Holy CRAP!!!!

Just a thank you to Packna45, who paid forward a CRKT to me. This is my dedicated "bbq knife", and i got a chance to use it today. St Louis style pork steaks, the knife worked perfectly, great slicer. Thanks again Packna!

I guess it depends on what your doing.

My 2 favorite Kabars might just be the Kabar bk14, its a good size for most knife related task and very easy to EDC. Then the BK9 for chopping.

My favorite non Becker Ka-bar is the potbelly. I like its unique shape and handle, and for sport cutting the hollow grind actually cuts free hanging rope excellently and i didnt expect that from it.

Also its so close in size and weight as my favorite knife of all times the Swamp Rat Chopweiler.

You can see the potbelly with the Bocote wood handles, and the chopweiler fits the same sheath and the scrapyard scrapivore fits the piggyback knife spot too

And yes the flask fits making it a great camping set-up LMAO

Here is the Chopweiler in all her glory

For a medium sized blade Id suggest a tweener, BK15 BK16 or BK17. Im normally more into drops, but love the clip on the 17.

But i also love the drop of the 16, and LOVE RMDs and the tweeners are not far from the same size handle and all

But the one I use the most is the BK14. The blade has been stripped since this pic, and this knife is headed for etching work.

It really depends on what your doing with it, but for the price of Ka-bars, especially the Becker series, its hard to lose!

If you received any of that stuff you claimed, you have plenty of gear. However if you don't have many knives/items yourself, be happy that you found something you liked on here and step back for others to particpate. Then, when you feel like you have something you wanna offer up, come back and pitch in. :)

There is by no means any pressure to offer anything up, but to claim more than 1-2 things and not participate...well it just isn't courteous to other people in this thread.
