Yep, checked back thru a dozen or so of mine. Granted, none of my transactions were anywhere near as large as that one, but the "cross border fee" was always exactly 1%, and the other fee was a bit over 3%, but seemed to get closer to 3% as the amount went up, like the one show below. Am thinking perhaps it reaches a point where it is actually less than 3%, and that sale was really for just over $800.whitie said:Deacon, that's what I was thinking too. What is really unfair is not the fee, but the rule that US sellers cannot legally make the buyer pay it. However, we cannot blame PayPal for that, it's a US Government rule. Frankly, I don't think PayPal gives a rat's a$$ who pays it as long as it gets paid. Of course a savvy seller can always work it into the "shipping and handling".
