I used Zelle recently to send a buddy some cash. Worked flawlessly once I got it set up. I wouldn't use it indiscriminately, but with CPK, I'd have no issues whatsoever.

I've heard good things about Square and their terms of use. I think their fees are slightly lower than PayPal as well. I couldn't give you first hand experience but they are worth a look

Zelle is good because the money is sent bank to bank with no third party holding the money in between which is not FDIC insured. And you can log into your bank's site and generally use it to send the money without downloading an app.

Zelle is an American digital payments network run by a private financial services company owned by the banks Bank of America, Truist, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, PNC Bank, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo.
