PayPal has frozen our account

I used Zelle recently to send a buddy some cash for ammo he custom loads. Worked flawlessly once I got it set up. I wouldn't use it indiscriminately, but with CPK, I'd have no issues whatsoever.
My online banking site offers Zelle as a secure way to send funds to someone else. No notes or declaration required. But I’ve never used Zelle to send funds.

Sadly, this action taken by PayPal will have 2 immediate adverse effects:

1- Makes larger scale sales such as preorders quite difficult till you find a payment processing platform which will suit your pace.

2- The temporary vacuum which this creates, will drive up the secondary market prices.

eBay is an evil shyte-head but they get away with this as:

A- They now have their own payment clearing "bank" which is some dodgy offshore outfit.

B- They classify knives under the main category of collectibles.

Oh, we all know that PP is now owned by some Chinese parent Co. I will leave it at that!

I’ve been using it because PayPal has been banning people’s accounts for knife transactions for a while now. Kinda surprising they would ban such a big account though.

The drawback of Zelle as compared to something like Square or similar, is that it's more geared toward personal peer to peer payments rather than small and medium business usage, but I'm sure Nate and Jo will examine the options, pluses and minuses and make a decision that will benefit their operation as well as work for all of us.

You may just have to get a new website built and accept credit cards through there. Unfortunately it will involve about a 3% increase in price to the consumer or a 3% decrease in funds received on your end. Not to mention the added cost of having a host for your website and someone to build, maintain, monitor, and update it.
this.

Paypal charges G&S providers about 3% which isn't far off from what credit card companies charge through things like Square, Shopify etc

Paypal is convenient, for sure- it should be an option. But NO business should rely on it 100% for processing payments imo.

People, most people, thoughtlessly give up their freedoms to all sorts of corporations in countless small and large ways, then turn around and complain about their government taking their freedom away. Until it totally does because those people end up voting for the corporations to control it.

I sent you guys a direct message suggestion. You must chose a platform which makes the job of invoicing and its management smooth for Jo who both is in charge of the orders and the accounts receivable. Zelle, MO and checks for a peanut size outfit like me works but I think that your "small" business has really outgrown the days when you used to sell your knives soon as the bucket was full o'knives! Streamlined invoicing and receivable management is crucial to your growth.

As noted, Zelle is a person to person app designated for friends and family. I don't believe it is a viable solution for what you need.
Square or Paze (card processor for merchants by partner institutions. Many of them the same ones that started or participate in Zelle).
There are others, obviously. You can use those to invoice directly or redirect customers to your website to check out.

I'm sure you are already contacting PayPal for more details on why your account was frozen and appeal options. It's frustrating but PayPal is ubiquitous and that has advantages to a business and consumer.

Best of luck
