PayPal SUCKS...AGAIN!

I agree PP does suck big time.

I stopped using PP on my website some time ago for reasons like this and many many more.

They catch you/anyone selling knives, guns and or accessories then they will shut you down and hold all your money. These items are a big no no with their policies and agreement.

It's too bad.

I hope things work out fast for you.

It's PayPal I've been on the phone with them for hours...
From what I hear they have been calling other HOGs and asking if they sent me money and "What's a NMFBMLE?" or what ever...I think this is being tied back to a piece of shit named Jimmy Mason from Bald Knob, AK and is going to cost me $2000
They are saying I may have the rest of my money in 3 to 5 days...from what I read when I type in Goggle "PayPal Sucks" hundreds of horror stories I'll be lucky to get anything back very quickly.
And if you piss them off they will keep your money for 180 days at zero percent before they give it back.
I'll post updates in a day or two..
I'll start a new rant about Jimmy Mason too...
Does anyone know where he is BTW..

What is this? Are they calling you on old business again or is it on something new?

I sold 2 knifes to Jimmy Mason, 4 months later after he resold them here, he called PP and said he didn't authorize the charge.
PP took all the money out of my account and back charged me $2100, I called them and they back charged me another $2100.
I sent paper work, emails, delivery receipts, sig. con, etc... SO, they back charged me again...

$6000 some bucks!?
All of this took place two weeks before I left for Iraq, they sent it to collections twice, I would tell the story, send them copies of all the paper work and they would reject PP's claim and send it back to them.

PP ripped me off for $300+ bucks and got away with it...
They are theives and one of the lowest POS on the planet....

anyway, I don't use them any more...Good Luck with your hassle with them, and if you would, tell them to get...aaah, never mind....I already told'em any way...

There are two types of PayPal users:

1) People who HAVE been screwed

2) People who WILL be screwed

Unfortunately we are in category number 1. We will not have another account.

If you chose to have a PayPal account don't whine when you get screwed.

Thats kinda harsh, and doesn't help at all.
You're damn right it is harsh! Life is harsh! Losing money to this POS company sucks.

How many fanboys have posted. "PayPal is great, I've never had a problem."? I keep waiting for one of these sycophants to post in this thread. Hopefully 1whobuys experience will help some of these PayPal fanboys pull their head out.

Teaching others is helping.

I hear ya man,,PP definately sucks and gets away with alot of BS.I was just saying that telling someone not to whine when they get screwed out of a large amount of money isn't helping his situation.

But your right people need to know how sinister PP is and learn from others mis-haps.

I am one of the lucky people who have never had a problem with Paypal. After reading of this episode, I believe I am living on borrowed time as far as Paypal goes. I am going to close my paypal account, which is tied to my main bank account, and open another Paypal account and tie it to a bank account that I will open especially for paypal.

To 1WhoBuys - I am truly sorry you are going through this terrible experience, and I hope all turns out well for you. Thank you for posting about this because it is indeed the straw that broke the camel's back for me.

PAYPAL KNOW EVERYTHING! U selling drugs aren't you, lol. I've said it once i've said it a thousand times PAYPAL FRICKIN SUCK BIG HAIRY ONES! Frickin PP,fickin ebay.Burn them like the Koreans!.....I mean Korans lol.

The f-ers kinda have us over a barrel if we want to trade on ebay. What's the alternative?I tried to list that i accept money orders and check and they kick off the listing.Ebay owns paypal.Seems pretty screwed up.

The first rule of Paypal: Never keep a balance!
It's impossible for them to freeze money if there is none present.
Immediately withdraw any incoming money.

You can always use the instant transfer option for purchases.

I have been using Paypal successfully for over 8 years following that one simple rule.

In that time I have only had one problem when a buyer used a stolen credit card. Paypal tried to freeze my funds to collect, but there was nothing to freeze. Ultimately, they decided in my favor, probably because they knew they weren't getting my money. Paypal cannot access your bank account or credit card even if they feel you owe them.

Keep your Paypal account empty.

Words to frickin' live by!!!:eek::mad:;)

+10.

Just withdrawing the funds is not enough. I read about another forum member who had a dispute opened against him and PayPal took the money from his credit card. The thing is that PayPal no longer accepts accounts that are not linked to a CC or bank account.

Paypal is a private company. Ever read their Terms & Conditions?

Paypal is also impossible to reason with.

Hopefully you will get your money, but next time don't let it accumulate like that. Do a bank transfer every time you get more then about $200 in there. It will save you a huge headache later on.

Nope, paypal can and will attempt to restore a negative balance by making multiple unauthorized withdrawal attempts on both your linked bank accounts and credit cards.

Been there, done that. Now I link the bank account when making a withdrawal, and the credit card if I have to make a payment. I also don't ever keep a balance.

This is news to me.

They did not attempt this when they tried to recover lost money from me in the stolen credit card deal. Maybe they changed their TOS.
Looks like I have some reading to do.

If they make an unauthorized withdrawal from my account, it's lawsuit time.

I have only a credit card on my PP account and will never link it to my bank because of the horror stories.

I wonder if you can get some kind of Court order demanding PP free up your money????

+1 to this. I want to become "verified" or whatever but I don't like the idea that PP wants my bank information.
