That may be my new favorite pearl knife I've seen. The crisp, clean, elegant simplicity of his work just pairs with that pearl perfectly! You won't see many of these. Tony didn't like using Pearl!! Only one I've seen, sadly sold a few years ago!!View attachment 1982694View attachment 1982695

Seriously, it seems like every time I see a new piece of his I'm even more impressed. His eye for design and the minute details of textures and finishes and angular lines with organic lines was really really really highly developed. Definitely hope to own a Bose piece one day.He was the best!!! R.I.P.

I saw a pearl stockman by him. It was commissioned and the buyer supplied the pearl. It was the first knife of his I ever saw...stunning. Kept me gaga for weeks. IIRC it was a 5-blader.You won't see many of these. Tony didn't like using Pearl!! Only one I've seen, sadly sold a few years ago!!View attachment 1982694View attachment 1982695

Oh gosh, can't be exact. It was at a NAKCA show in Springfield. I met Paul Basch there for the first time too. He was schilling for AG and Paul didn't yet know about the cancer he carried in him. It was also the first and only time I coon-fingered a Scagel. Paul had it. I'd gather 15-20 years ago. Great show...miss it something awful. Springfield Show was a great yearly summer trip...Wow!! Wish I had seen it!! How many years ago did you see it??
