(With apologies to @meako ):
There have been grumblings among the Porchenberg peasantry.
The lords and gentry have been flaunting their riches - ostentatious displays of GECs, customs, priceless collectors’ pieces, fancy watches and pens - at a time when a simple man of the earth can barely afford his daily latte and croissant.
Sullen resentment is turning to murmurings of rebellion and revenge. Why should some have #3 of 100 in mammoth ivory, while others have to make do with a stick, two nails, and a sliver of iron? But who can defeat that sliver of iron, when wielded by hands hardened by decades of toil over worn keyboards?
The moment is now. Porchenberg peasants, revolt!

(Peasant knives appear here and there across these pages, but I thought it might be be good to have a dedicated, ongoing thread for them.)
