I would like to see if other knife nuts like me are also into other "things".
Pens - I've spent more on pens than I did on my education.
Guns - I've spent more on guns than I spent on my house.
Tools - Tons of high quality hand tools and I don't even change my own oil.
Watches - I should have bought Big Ben, It would have been cheaper.
Flashlights - I could light the evening sky with all my Surefires.
Golf - I'm a decent golfer with a basement full of "The Best" equipment.
I don't think I am alone here. At least I hope not.

I lijke pens/mechanical pencils. Dont have many but i like a nice writuing tool. I love knives. Dont cqare for guns. Dont care for golf. Love a nice watch. I like good tools.

I have a $450 machine that wet scrubs and vaccuums vinyl LPs. That's probably my weirdest niche purchase.

Don't forget flyrods. After selling some off, I'm down to my favorite 17.
SxS shotguns are becoming my financial enemies.
How many vintage brass compasses can one possibly want?
I don't like this thread any longer. It's making me feel dumb.

Brass compasses?? Now that's given me a new idea for a mania! Any links or info please?

My collection of guns overshadows that of my knives.....and I have ALOT of knives. I also collect baseball cards. I am there with you guys on the flashlights and the golf gear, of course its got to be the best and lord knows you hit 50yrds farther with a 600 dollar driver:D

Besides small knives (blade length 3" or less are my favorite -- both folders and FBs):

Binoculars (got a thing for upper-end optics)
Firearms (though I don't buy these often)
Flashlights

AND

Fried Fish!

:)

I'm a watch guy. Unfortunately watches exceed most knives in expense, so I try and look for nice looking, cool and unique watches under 200 bucks. I'd love to have a Panerai watch, but I'm not exactly ready to throw down 4 grand for one.

I also have a pretty nice collection of barbells and freeweights and various other martial arts/boxing gear. I spend more money on supplements and weights than I do anything.

Cologne. I have dozens of bottles.

Knives, guns and some expensive watches, and cloths ( suits for work and a ton of leather jackets and Jeans).

Yep, I'm in for guns, pens, and backpacking gear. I also occasionally dabble in coins and fossils (paleontology was my first love).

I'll have to admit to guns...and a few high quality watches (but only a few -- I've actually been able to control myself).
