People who like knives.....

Guns, Bows, Knives, Ammo, Reloading supplies, Fishing equipment, Movies, Books, Optics, and any other junk I find.

Knives, all folders and multitools in modest amounts, based on what has been posted here. Other than that, I am much the minimalist... no expensive (or cheap) collecting hobbies, just what I need (or think so) and sometimes short of that.

I have tried to keep the baggage of existence light as possible. My wife is another story, but that's okay, we're good. Someone has to fill up with stuff all space available. It's one of those laws of nature.

guns is my big vice, I have a lot more invested in my guns...it was nice getting into knives, it's alot cheaper! I keep telling myself that i am going to use the next couple grand I save up to go on vacation but I've been telling myself that for a few years now...have lots of nice guns and knives though.

Lots of outdoors stuff - guns, camping & hiking gear, fishing stuff (esp. fly fishing), bowhunting gear, - - - well, basically if its outdoors stuff I like it. - - - also good books.

Guns and knifes......, I didn't know there was anything else. Custom knifes and guns are part of Americana. Does it get any better than knowing you can walk down the street carring the best in the world on your hip.

Knives is my only mania. I'm on the bubble with woodworking tools but so far I've kept it reasonably within the scope of what I need and use. However, it's clearly only a matter of time though before I reach the tipping point. Antique japanese chisels and vintage Stanley bench planes are going to be a big problem for me, I can tell already.

I agree

Pens
Watches
Flashlights
Hiking Gear, tents, Sleeping Bags
Nice set of solid Hiking boots
A decent compass
Good well made lighters (I dont even smoke :D )

And of course a new appreciation of Knives :D

Cheers

Not me, I try to have as little belongings as possbile. Somehow it makes me feel free that i can pack all my stuff into 2 suitcases. I do have a number of different butcher and cooking knives though, its hard to buy the right one the first time. I also have unfortunatly discoverd recently that there are other types of shoes than black oxfords, and a metrosexual shopping spree may ensue.

Oh man.....my wife collects jewellery and I go for...
Guns
Knives
Watches
Cameras & lenses
Flashlights (call them 'torches' in the ex-colonies)
Hiking boots
Hiking 'accessories'
....and .....bags, especially rigid camera bags or 'different' hiking bags. I'm always looking for a better way to pack my guy-stuff when travelling.

I also have a habit of, if I find something that really works for me, like my BM Skirmish of buying 2, in case they discontinue the item....sigh....life is as hard as we make it...

Vintage computers

I've recently gotten into traditional shaving methods... double edge razor (Merkur HD), brush, soap etc. There's a certain gadget factor that a Merkur razor has that the 3- 4- 5- and 6-blade wonders don't have.

This kind of shaving is favored by young fogies, the kind of young men who like to wear fedoras and hang out in Tiki bars. I'm in the generation gap between the real old fogies and the young fogies.

I can see that this will start to get expensive when I get my next brush but nowhere near as expensive as knife addiction.

I have a $60.00 Mekur razor that is gathering rust in my medicine cabinet. Gillette perfected the razor a long time ago. I do still use the $55.00 boars hair brush.

Fountain pens
Transit Memorabilia
Flashlights
Watches
camera equipment (mmm, Nikon F2 Titanium..)
Shaving stuff (mmm, Badger and Blade's forum brush)

It is not near the obsession with me that knives are but I have 30 or so canes and walking sticks.

I am into all but Golf, my time is spent on my motorcyles rather then the green.
