Perfect Folder in Hand

I used to own Rockstead Shin. I have not yet encountered a knife that fit my hand as well as that knife does. Such a well though out an executed ergonomic design.

Cold Steel - American Lawman
Spyderco - Gayle Bradley

and...dont laugh...

Gerber - 1st Gen EZ-Out

I like the knockout, manix2, buck vantage, Kershaw shuffle and believe it or not the Byrd meadowlark2. Not into high end knives wallet wont allow it. However those are my favorite fits.

Both my small Sebenza 21 with micarta inlays and my CQC7 fit my hand well and the first also has the advantage of being very pocket friendly. But, by far the most comfortable folder is the Lionsteel Kur. With its thick, contoured scales it feels the most like a fixed blade of any of my folders which makes makes it less pocket friendly.

I've been considering the Kur for a future knife purchase but just wish I could get my hands on one first. Do you find that you don't carry it often because you don't find it pocket friendly?

Benchmade 581, 710, 940-1501, Knockout, Para 2, Millie, Pro Tech TR-3 manual & auto are a few that come to mind.

The Spyderco Sage 1+2 also the frn Native the g10 model feels blocky.

Spyderco PM2, the ergonomics are very good
I enjoy also the handle of the zt0801 for its simplicity

What is that one folder you own that just seems to fit your hand perfect. I'm not talking about your best cutting knife or most expensive knife or even your favorite knife to carry. I'm talking about the folder that when you grab it not only has no hot spots on your hand but just is a joy to hold.

I have been mulling this one. At first I was going to post a list because it was too close to call. Then I discovered that part of my "in the hand" like was actually the deployment or in the pocket characteristics so that probably is outside what you are talking about.

It is kind of too early to tell because I don't have enough hard use on it to tell about hot spots (would probably go to a fixed blade for that anyway at that point) but I keep coming back to my latest "project" knife. I mean it was this handle shape that kept at me until I bought one (and made the blade more EDC).

I suppose it should be my Griptillian or my Manix which do feel great but . . . for me part of an adequate, nay superior handle is the ability to turn it easily in my grip to change the cutting angle smoothly by degrees, think Opinel, but also to have a flat or two to reference off of and have better grip for twisting.

Also the nod to the swaybacks or trappers or tear drop . . . that bulbous rear end. I find that highly functional.

Then it hit me today while I was reading another thread. What I was TRYING TO CREATE for my self was a Sodbuster.

Ha, ha, ha The jokes on me. But since I don't own a Sodbuster yet . . .
I am saying this is pretty close to what I like in a full handled knife.
Now once it is folded and in the pocket I think maybe the Spyderco Military in Ti might have some advantage. not all thick and in the way. I carry this franken knife in a pouch. Sans pocket clip . . . DEFINITELY no pocket clip on this knife / it's totally in the way.
