Joe, I dropped mine off at the post office on Friday and it did not show up scanned. Today I went down there and asked about it and they just shrugged and said "it happens".

Big relief the scan just showed up and it is already on a plane to you :)
 
USPS tracking sucks. Never had anything get lost, but the tracking info is way too slow and not detailed.

I didn't know what to think of the coating on the sheath when you mentioned it but it's really nice

At first look it looks like leather

I can defiantly see the utility of it

I'm going on carry it a bit and I think I'm going to be very pleased :)

I have EDC'd Bens everyday since I received it

It is a superb rendition

I will EDC Adams next for a few days and than I will EDC Matts

By the time I do the video I should have some time with each

When your EDCing something you learn how quickly a good sheath becomes a huge part of the equation

Joey, I have grave doubts about my rendition of Phill's sheath. I very much hope it doesn't suck. I know we've spoken about it, and now I'm really feeling the pressure. I very much wish I'd made my own style of sheath for this project, as I have complete confidence in it, but I suppose I wouldn't have learned anything following that path, and would not have been in keeping with the spirit of this thread. Alas, for not having more time!!!

Adam, your 'rough' finish is way better than mine. I couldn't make mine look that way, try as I might. Just didn't feel right, to me. Your's looks great.

Was up late rough profiling a piece with sori, and a slightly longer blade, out of MUCH thicker stock. If only I can get this confounded roof done. Stay tuned...
