I think what he means is, you weren’t literally commanded to start the thread. Seems like you’re reading between the lines and thinking your decision to post is being called into question and it isn’t.

Nothing to be sorry about.

In the interest of accuracy, "invitation" to do something... is not the same as "instruction" to do so.

Some folks might have read your post and taken it as we made your doing so conditional as regards any further action on our part. So, it's simply offered for accuracy and to avoid any misunderstanding by other members.

In any case, let's hope this debacle is resolved before the bell rings.
