CPK D2 EDC next to Osprey Knife & Tool Trailhand

I like the EDC, but the above picture shows the basic fit issue I have with the model. My ring finger lands very uncomfortably on the pronounced lower swell of the EDC grip.

Well.. that trail hand certainly has my attention.. I also have an 8-9 hand, and that looks perfect.

Both are great knives, and I originally took the picture to demonstrate some degree of equivalence in terms of philosophy of use, but when I posted the photos I remembered why the EDC did not work for me. In point of fact neither are in my collection currently as suitable EDC knives, but both are great general choices, and certainly I stand by both makers. The trail hand was more comfortable, but I favored the CPK guard and accentuated drop point.

I'm sorry to hear the EDC isn't comfortable for you Jarrett. I find the handle very comfortable. It feels so good that sometimes when I squeeze it, I think I'm holding my Johnson!
