Photos! Post your CPK photos here!

Hey, that Forrest Green G10, a really great looking color choice. My preference is micarta, but I am warming up to the Forrest Green G10 awefully quick, damn, it's really a looker!

Got my field knife , and it feels like part of me 😂

Set up with Sagewood Gear danglers

Justin , Medium size dangler ( although the small would prob fit also )have the same size on the Gso 4.7 and 5.1 , and used the dangler for the Gso 10 on the light chopper .
Great write up the field knife , I have to say I agree will everything , ergos are great . ( will be letting go of my 5.1 to generate more CPK funds )

Thank you, my thoughts on the latter exactly.

It was 100 degrees this weekend, but I took the LC out to do a bit of work anyways.

I didn't actually get to use it for many reasons, but I went on a hike to a lake with the LC and managed a couple shots.

Beautiful area! Where exactly is that?

It is at Snow Lake, which is an alpine lake near the Snoqualmie Pass area in the Cascades about an hour outside of Seattle. It was about 11am when I took it and the fog was still hiding the lake from view, but I have a few more pics that don't involve CPK knives if you might be interested in seeing more.

Beautiful! Any trout pictures? There's got to be some in there.

I didn't see a single fish, but I wasn't out there to fish. I saw a bunch of folks heading up as we were leaving that had poles and one group had an inflatable raft in the lake as we left.

That one shot where you can see into the water reminded me of some of the high mountain lakes of Montana. We would hike in about every weekend of the summer and fish one of them when I was a teenager. Took me back a bit, thanks for that

You're welcome, I know Montana and Washington mountains are pretty similar in nature so it's not surprising the mountain lakes are all similar too.

Nathan did a very small number of Field knives in utility grade grind.

Here is one of my favourite colours of micarta, it's a little more brown in person but this background colour makes it look closest of any I could find. Vintage butterscotch micarta.

Now this one is interesting, the unknown vintage micarta with the edge grain.

Here is a little different lighting for the vintage vs black G10.

So I wonder how the scales with the edge grain out affect the texture? Seems like it might provide a natural 'grippiness' as the exterior of the material wears and is exposed with use, but I've never used a set cut in such a manner.
