Why bring a knife to a Gunfight? No Knife for me:p I would throw the UF, (Noise distraction) so i could get to this (Which is leaning on the nightstand) Beretta 1301 Comp

Tommy, I had seriously thought about buying a 1301 when they had just come out (2016?). Then I thought that their price was a bit prohibitive for a purely defensive or competition shotgun plus being a 5 + 1 without the possibility for a mod (I think). A close friend has a very very nice Montefeltro all p*mped out which barely used. I know that shotgun is not suited for home defense and as such, but it’s a beautiful hunting shotgun and I want it :)

Mat, the 1301 Can be used for Hunting also! Mine has a 21 inch Barrel, but they are available with an 18 1/2 inch and 24 inch Barrel! The optional magazine extension, increase the capability to 9+1!:D

Tommy, sorry I had a major brain fart because I was thinking the tactical version not the competition one with the longer barrel, duh!

But I didn’t know you could mod it to load as many as 9 + 1

Great knives !! Is that a big boar Tusker ? I’ve been looking at those :)

Yes you bet; 1/4” cryo’d A2. Have been a long time Gossman user. Not as high end fit and finish; or finesse I guess is a better word, than CPK, but very practical woods tools with a wide variety of steels.

I have always liked O1 and A2 done right, but the thin-ness and feel of the D3V is really growing on me (and the fact it is practically stainless is really nice for everyday field carry).

Took me a while to jive with the whole idea of using a semi auto shotgun for HD but after about 5,000 flawless rounds through my Benelli M2, I've reached my comfort zone. The 10 shot tube and ability to ghost load give me 12 chances in a 22" bbl gun. Not bad.

^ St. Augustine is s always styling it. Let's call it the SA swagger :)

BTW, St. Mateo highly approves of your Big Boy toys and aspires to grow up to be like you :D

Yes Sire, I knew that they existed but I btainfarted the Tacti-cool and the Comp versions

BTW Pbubsy, I also very much like the Benelli M2 and admittedly have major man (boy) crush on their M4. I think that Beretta owns them anyway, correct? ;)
Yup, Beretta owns Benelli and Sako i Believe

Yessir, I'm a big fan of both Benelli and Beretta shotguns. Also have a special place for the Mossberg 590A1. Being built pretty stout and having a low center of gravity, the shotgun works out pretty well for me. My weapon of choice for duty and defense. Between the M2 my LRB Scout, I'm GTG.
