Dang Bob, that's terrible. Is the knife okay?


A double edge Shiv just like that was responsible for the only serious knife related injury we've ever had at this shop. Mark bumped one setup on the parallelogram we use for sharpening and drove it probably half an inch into the meaty part of his palm. They most certainly do bite.

I hope you get better soon.
 
when I was at the AKI in 2011, a guy there somehow stabbed himself in the palm of his hand with a bowie from Jason Knight, (aka; sharp as hell). I still can see him in my mind's eye walking around with a glazed look in his eyes with a cupped hand full of blood. Heal well, Bob

Hey Bob, sorry I didn’t see this post earlier. Glad you’re okay. Hope you have a speedy recovery. I can relate to the blood thinner comment brother. I’m always a little apprehensive about cutting myself with one of Nathan’s scary sharp knives. :thumbsup::D
