Thanks Tom. I believe it was you that mentioned the linen scales have a softer feel to them? I didn't get it at first but now I totally do. It's like a light airy wood scale feel almost. With canvas no matter how it's buffed the fibers still protrude thru and provide feedback with texture.

These are smooth.... but yet not slippery. o_O I'm digging em for sure. At first I thought this wasn't going to work but after using it some today I was thoroughly impressed with the grip they provided.
