We get to wear boots once in awhile, when we get a little cool front for a day or two.

The new FK2 is perfect. The handle is better than ever, it was hard to believe you could improve on such a great design but you far exceeded my expectations. I can not wait to put it to good use.

Why is there blood spatter?

I don’t know.
I couldn’t figure out what it was.
There were no fur or feathers anywhere.
Just that hockey puck sized turd and a pile of blood.
No coyote tracks that I could see, although the snow had a pretty good crust on it.
100% no other people.
If it weren’t for the turd, I’d figure an owl or hawk scooped a rabbit or something.

The Burlap is wonderful, very warm and tacky feeling, perfect fit and feel for me. I wear XL gloves and this FK fits it perfectly.

I thought the same but there were no bones or feathers in the mystery lump.
Plus it was big. Not sure if those pellets get that big.
