After finding it left sitting in a bowl of water, and then a trip through the dishwasher, I had a come-to-Jesus meeting with the fam. It has survived none the worse for the wear thus far.

Nope, not bad at all. Just the few spots you can see on the blade in the last picture. I try to give it a wipe down with mineral oil when I use it, but I'm afraid it gets somewhat neglected otherwise. Like you said earlier, a good testament to the quality of a CPK

Emailed Mrs. Jo on Saturday about putting the forest green terotuf handles on my HDMC. Got it today, and I'm really liking the color. Many thanks to the Carothers crew for a late request fulfilled. Just wish the color was available earlier.

I’m really liking the looks of those. If I’m able to get the money together for another FK2, and those are available, that’s what I’ll be getting.
I already have my standard black micarta FK2. And my HDMC is en route.
