I dunno about micarta, but carbon fiber is definitely invisible to those fancy x ray scanners

Thanks, Nathan. Is the micarta more economical and or easier on your tools than maybe some other stabile plastic or even an aluminum? I have to say, an antique micarta prototype would be appealing. Mike

I have Micarta drops kicking around and it's easier to program for because you just about can't break a cutter in it.
