What model mori made that? Mill? 5 axis?

That's sweet. Being a CNC machinist I can certainly appriciate how difficult it is to do that. I spoke with Nathan once. Essentially, the carbide used to cut the 3v and the 3v itself is the same hardness. Meaning it's a fucking tool killer. It's like using glass to cut glass.

Speeds of tool rotation, travel per rotation and depth of cut have to be dialed in to an insane extent. Theres really a ton more work that goes into these blades than you'd think.

I'm certainly surprised that they're offered at the price points that they are to be honest.

Nathan and crew do a great job. Hands down.

^ those potato knives were great

You really ought to consider some Chef knife(ves) for your upcoming patterns or if the concept already exists on the white board, move that idea ahead of the other stuff (I won't name the patterns because some people will not like it). I think that a 7 inch-ish CPK-CK will be a recession buster for you :)

ETA: I had to change the moniker from Kitchen Knife to Chef Knife because of, well you will find out on your own :D
