If it was up to me, I'd order every CPK with AW But Nathan puts a bigass caveat, disclosure & fine print with the acid wash. I don't think that he recommends it for user knives

There were very few denim micartas for the OGFK, Dave has or had one. Justin Fournier may have talked Nathan into an AW FK but can't remember if it was OGFK or UFK!

I have a request, which I hope doesn’t ruffle any feathers, but looking to see what’s comparable in size to an old School Busse SHBA with Carothers’ line up. So if anyone has a side by side, I’d LOVE to see them.

I don’t have an SHBA, but here’s some size comparison of knives.

I'm back to my seby. The Shiro has a better heat treat and fancier machining, but the Sebby is just so solid

Not a big fan of CRK, mostly because of me as I couldn't sharpen their edges for shyte! Have had quite a few going through my hands and I regret none but one! A beautiful damascus plain jane Sebbie 21 which Justin wanted me to sell for him through all that D mess, but I could've had it if I wanted to. It was a "user" per Justin's standards but it was gorgeous. I got him more than he wanted but we still sold it cheaply as I had 3 guys fighting over it on the Exchange. I still wanna cry for letting it go through my hands I really wanna cry now!

I miss the BG42 Sebbies back in the day. They seemed to hold up better than the newer stuff.

Nathan moved away from the denim for durability issues I think? But this one has been good to me. I have however treated it a little easier than some of my others because I'm not likely to get another set of those scales.

On second thoughts, he's a nervous wreck and because his kids are really young, best for the kids to have their father around for a long time. That's all which I'm willing to say, LOL.

These will be among my heirloom CPKs no matter what. With my special thanks to @Mike157 (again) and Fonedork to make this EDC(1) happen for me. For those who have not been around CPK for as long as some of us, Nathan's LC in 4V has a direct lineage to his later Comp-Chopper. I had won an EDC in 4V years ago but I relinquished my spot to another friend on here who has now been AWOL for years (I hope that he's OK @adamlau)
