I apologize, Dave, 1.) for the late reply and 2.) for my apparent ignorance. I assume you are referring to the handles? I took that pic in low light so the handles look darker than they actually are. I don't thing they are anything special aside from being the buffed black micarta (canvas, I think?). The double black does sound really cool though...


Did some agate hunting with my daughter in our backyard today - found some pretty ones. Took a bunch of knives with me (just because).

Been a while since these guys grew on the property, and never seen them where this one was and have never found one here even half this size. Rained a bit tonight so curious if more are going to pop up
