V...It's a 2016 Specialized Stumpjumper...

Nice! I used to race a Stumpjumper in a local cross country race series back in the 90's. Finished second place overall in my province my last year racing. I have the bike from that series still, some vintage XTR on there lol. I still have a brand new factory team frame in my Dad's attic from the mid-90s as well. It should be on a wall somewhere. Moved on to Santa Cruz after specialized though, so that frame was never built. I still miss my Chameleon & Bullit some days.

Well I'm definitely glad I pulled the trigger on this used 3v FK. The fit and finish is remarkable and the ergo's are perfect. The thumb ramp had me worried, but I honestly think that they add to the knife's usefulness.
I'm definitely sold on this design and I'm sure I'll get my non-Bladeforums friends hooked also!

Very nice!

Welcome to the FK greatness.
Thanks bud! You really weren't joking about the aspects of these knives.
I already have one friend trying to talk me out of it and he hasn't even handled it yet so I think I'll have to get another one so I can share the wealth.

Congrats bud! The thumb ramp is very well executed on these. Glad to see you landed one.

Thank you HK!
It just shows how much thought really went into the design on these. Hopefully it'll be a trademark that they keep on all of their knives.

Well done Standard! I may even add a potential 3rd FK to my active roster with buffed natural Micarda handle scales to match the beautiful sheath which Grogie had sent me. I will be posting pictures of his well crafted sheath in the appropriate thread on this subforum in the next couple of days.

BTW, who is the Justin person everyone keeps harping on about?! Does he know anything and more importantly, what's his claim to fame? ;)

Thanks bud! I'm really impressed and I'm hoping to try out the Delta version also.
Please post up those photos! I'd like to see Grog's awesome work for one of these.

Haha he's just another one of you good guys that helped me make my mind up on this brand!

Hey, I think I can save that deer, Terry. Start CPR continuous chest compressions until I get there. Otherwise can you cut me a few steaks?

My daughters buck. We worked it up yesterday. First time to use the 6 inch Nathan knife. My son uses his to butcher sheep. He loves it.

I love the handle.

Very nice Bob. Really cool colour. Gives the impression that depending on the light it is under, it will show differently.
