God, I love my FK2 for it’s intended purposes! That being said, since becoming a CPK loyalist, the DEK is my next. I have many knives for the things I love and do, but seeing them side by side seals the deal.

Yeah, I think they are different enough to justify having both. One for more serious field usage, and the other for everyday. I'm finding the DEK1 is pretty awesome in the kitchen as well.

I will keep my FK2 and match it with a DEK1, then rest, for a very, very short while.

Back at the Windriver, after an 18h drive yesterday. Snow all the way starting up Donner pass in CA. All through Nevada (Reno to Salt Lake), never seen this before.
