God, I love my FK2 for it’s intended purposes! That being said, since becoming a CPK loyalist, the DEK is my next. I have many knives for the things I love and do, but seeing them side by side seals the deal. I will keep my FK2 and match it with a DEK1, then rest, for a very, very short while.I think it's particularly illustrative to see the FK2 next to the DEK1. While close in size, you can see that they are really quite different knives in design (and of course, the FK2 has significantly thicker blade stock as well).
