Got it. I mistook both knives! How embarrassing!It does … tip angle is noticeably smaller. Note that Bob doesn’t have an FK2 yet.

I referenced the CPK encyclopedia as a way to study and compare when I saw your comment about mistaking some knives as others because the encyclopedia is a great way to quickly sort that out, complete with links for all their details like pics, measurements, some previous discussions, sales threads and other little historical nuggets of info. I will agree there’s no substitute for actually obtaining and holding the knife but it’s nice to know exactly what knife model is the one you need to get next!
If it helps, I’d say the FK2 stands above the DEK1. They’re similar in size but the handle of the FK2 does it for me and through using them I feel the blade profile is better suited for more tasks. It might just be because I prefer the tip to be higher rather than it being more centered in profile like it is on the DEK1.
