The DR. Is correct it’s the m-1 xdp. Essentially a scaled down version and I will agree with the Doc! It’s wonderful and one of my favorite knives.

The CPKs run more comfortable but the TRC is the most secure feeling knife I’ve ever owned. I’m on the hunt for the Mille Cuori as well, would love to check one out.

I definitely prefer for a knife I sell to go to a loving home...but I fully understand that once you sell, it's no longer your decision. Yep, it can rankle...but so it goes. (Flippers would not get a second bite at the apple, however.)

V4E steel and a DLC coating (which I love). It boasts one of the best grips besides the DEK or FK2, in my opinion. Feels great in the hand, and the large diamond texture is extremely grippy. Overall I love this knife a lot, and it is one of the very few I use often besides a CPK.

Thanks for the clarification DrBC DrBC . At a glance they look kinda similar to me.

It seems like a very nice piece and I have had good luck with V4E/4V in the past. The handle also struck me as particularly well executed. If I wasn’t lucky enough to score my SDFK recently, I would likely have grabbed one of these or the MC.

Plus, as an Italian boy, the MC name is appealing. Che bel coltello!
