Small comparison:

2 small observations I didn't know before:

1) the DEF2 and UF2 are exactly the same length, down to the mm
2) the DEF2 got its own Kydex sheath - made me happy (it does not fit the UF2)

Roland.

Wardrobe change. I like... a certain style.
The BFK with FK2 scales (+Ti), as many know, hits so hard in looks, ergos and functionality. Then I pick up the FK2 with its scales, then the DEKs (then the HDFK, UF2, CR35.... ad nauseum...). CPK.just.mf.crushes.

BTW, I mean no disrespect to Dylan's beautiful knife...it just so happens that the HDFK is the only "fancy" CPK I have...so I have to take my opportunities where they can be found. (I mean, I have burlap micarta as well as red / black...but those are not exactly showstoppers...except in hand.)

20 year old non-safety cans ftw
(Hinderer ranch bowie in the glove box, another in the tractor... ferider ferider is to blame)

I really like the Wavian NATO cans. Whether in a hot shed, or a black SUV parked in the summer sun all afternoon, I've never smelled even a hint of gas fumes with those properly closed. Can't say the same for any of the plastic cans.

They're pretty darned pricey now, though.
