No, it's just operator error with the pics. First of all they are not exactly/evenly lined up and it's the angle of the pics.

I also received an extra set of buffed FK2 Double Red and Double Black Linen scales from Jo today.

The color contrast between the red and black linen for theses scales can be more subdued in hand then one might think. I've always liked the various linen micarta scale offerings so I'm glad to finally have a sample.

I took a couple of pics in bright sun light along with one FK2 group shot in flat light.







Top: buffed Black Linen.
Middle: buffed Double Red & Double Black Linen.
Bottom: buffed Double Black Canvas.
