I don't see a swedged FK2 too often, it always looks terrific.

I’ll second that too, the added swedge looks amazing 🤩

This new Double Red/Double Black has excellent contrast/patterning compared to last years older (more subdued) batch of the Red/Black.

And yes, such differences too depending on the sunlight, indoors, wet, etc… more eye candy for sure 👍

I believe that the older batch of scale material that you were referring to was the "Black and Red Linen" and the "Black and Green Linen" scales not this newer "double" variety.

I also think that a Double Green and Double Black Linen version would look nice too but I don't think the OEM offers it?
 
So after getting the new scales for the DEK2 and swapping them I found a few spots under the the scale it’s been carried IWB. The spots cleaned up with a little polish then a couple coats of wax. I decided the others should get a good cleaning and looking over a few spots on the DEK1 and UF2 both of those are carried the same way. No spots on the Kephart that spends most of the time in the kitchen getting wet. here Are a couple pictures washed but not cleaned. Interesting that the AEB-L DEK1 had spots too. Thanks for sharing.

I had fun during the sale of Handground Archival, New Designs, Jewels Or Bargains that Nathan ran over the last month (or HANDJOB for short). This CoCK really had a blast! I wish I’d got one of those DEKs with the hollow ground swedge Nathan sold towards the end but at that point I’d shot my wad. Would be fun to see this become an annual event.
