Photos! Post your CPK photos here!

Some big blade debauchery and indulgence! Nate's weighs in just a tad over 1 lb. 1ounce. Guy's GSO 10 at 1 lb. 4 ounces. Nate's is the 2016 edition and GSO is 2013. Nate's was definitely carzy sharp out of the box but in all fairness to the GSO, I bought it "Like-new" so it didn't come from Guy directly:

Very nice casino, looks like a clone to mine. I'm guessing you favor the LC?

Ultimately they will both serve the same purpose but I am being a bit more tepid with the LC for now. I was lucky enough to land another LC this past Friday so one of the LCs will most (very, very) likely go to a very good forum Buddy. I will wait to get that one to just open and gauge as to which I'd prefer (buffed black micarta) but I may ultimately stay with the TeroTuf because I will be using it and the grip factor will probably win over aesthetics and the curb appeal. I will be fighting tooth and nails :)D) during upcoming Fridays to land a CPK-FK because I really like and respect both Nate & Guy's work / designs / products. however for a variety of reasons which I prefer not to state, Nate's products will get the first dibs on my poor wallet :D

The thread title should be: "post your shitty pictures of cpk knives here"

My photos would fit right in. Here they just seem.... Well... Shitty. :);):D

Waiting for a light chopper with terotuff

There are no bad pictures of CPKs, only poor optics!! :D

Are those blue denim scales? Nice knife man.

It does, but I think I read in another thread that they're terotuf. Sure look like my blue denim in the above pic though.

It surely is tero tuff. It's super grippy. Just ain't that pretty compared to polished burl, g10 or paper.

I have this knife with me each and every second possible. It dissapears in my hand due to the awesome balance, and dissapears in my front pants pocket due to its size and shape.

Probably one of the comfiest knife handle shapes ivd had the pleasure of handling.

I love Terotuf. I also love seeing CPKs with other brands of knife, in part because it informs as to what kind of dude you are and it's great to get to know people here.

I really appreciate that mindset.

Cheers man

I received the CPK LC I scored on the 27 May sale last week. This took a while as I had it shipped to Eric Lind @ Mashed Cat for a custom kydex sheath before it is shipped to Singapore. The wait is worth it. I am extremely impressed with both the LC and the sheath. I am a strong believer on having a good platform to carry my favorite knife when I am out in the field. A good knife will be reduced to a safe queen if I have no reliable way of carrying it. Eric is my goto guy when I need a kydex sheath and he has never fail to impress me with his work.

This is my LC in TeroTuf. Next to it is the Mashed Cat sheath. I have it setup with a dangler drop loop and leg strap which I did not show here. These pictures were taken before I used the LC.

I managed to sneak out of the house while my wife was away to do a quick night hike with the LC and did some quick test on it. Here are some of the shots I took along the way.

Some creatures we saw along the way. The scorpions were fairly easy to spot with the UV light which my mate brought along.

I did some chopping test along the way. The blade is lightning fast and bites deep. True to its name, it is extremely effective at clearing sapling under 2" in thickness.

I also did some chopping against some hard wood. The dried hard wood exploded away with every chop. The blade vibrated a little when it hit the hard wood. I guess it is because of the thin blade.

The edge does get dull a little after all the hard chopping. I managed to restore the edge with a few light passes on my Sharpmaker ultra fine rods and a leather strop.

My original plan was to chop some bamboo but we did not managed to hit the bamboo area. We had to cut short the hike as our path were blocked by thick heavy mud. I will definitely go back again to test the LC on some bamboo so watch this space.

Just gave my LC another workout, I'm telling you guys you can chop all day with this beast. 1"-2" branches are lopped off in a single swing. It's fast becoming my favorite knife ever and easily my most used. And it takes it well 😎
In the background is the fire wood it made for me tonight

Two of my favorites sharing a moment 🍻

That's a nice Lil paper cut you got on your arm bud ;)

I took this photo with my phone for a friend, & included the pack of smokes to show the size...
I think he got as big a kick out of it as I did!
I asked for the unbuffed black micarta scales, and I'm sure glad I did. It's very grippy, although I've yet to use it when wet.
The bead works really well for tightening up the firecord lanyard, plus it's GITD!!!
