Have you handled the G10 at all? Wondering how it compares.

That's a Reeves build steam tractor?

Hahaha. Nah man. It's a old furnace door from a nearby abandoned hospital. Good guess though.

I haven't handled the G10 but I will always choose micarta 10/10 times if given the choice. Just my preference.

I'm so glad there are no scorpions here.

We have Black Widows out this way in the West Kootenays though.
Saw one today at work.

I love Terotuf. I also love seeing CPKs with other brands of knife, in part because it informs as to what kind of dude you are and it's great to get to know people here.

Ask, sir, and you shall receive.

This is the collection that I gathered from my person and vehicle before driving home from the gym last night.

Here is my LC with some other non CPK knives. These pics are from a camping trip I hosted a couple months ago with about 4 other knife nuts. Everything on the table was fair game to use and enjoy. It was great being able to compare so many different knifes at the same time in the same environment.

^^Holy hell thats some fixed blade collection. Is that a MOAB on the bottom of the 2nd pic?
How's Nates LC compare to the competition on the table?

 That's a heck of a LOT of quality cutlery sitting right there, sheesh! Whole lotta bussekin in the mix, and my favorite part of those pics is how few of the tools look unused, not a safequeen among'm!

Thanks, they are not all mine though; we all brought knives to share. The knife on the bottom of the 2nd pic is a Moabolo. The bronze knife is a MOAB, and it's a beast. The perspective in the above two pictures makes the Moabolo look a bit bigger than it is (it's a big knife though) and the MOAB look smaller than it is.

The LC is a fantastic knife and performed very well. It is much lighter than Busse's in that size range, and the factory edge is significantly better. It's pretty much a joy to swing for a prolonged amount of time, especially with the TeroTuf handle. Really my only [minor] complaint about the LC is that the choil is not really usable for choking up on the knife.

Thanks! You are correct, not a single safe queen there, they are all users.

Having already posted a few of my Nathan Nives, I'll just post one recently acquired Non-Nathan Nife, something at least a BIT close to a chopper, but it's the only non-Nathan I'll ever post here, probably:

^ that's an interesting piece. Is it integral construction?

Nathan, the piece begins with a bigass piece of 440-C (5/8" or 3/4" stock as I recall). Without the use of any machinery of any kind, it's reduced to a full integral D-guard cutlass. The handle treatments are also formed without machinery. Here's a description below of the outcome:

Ron Best Integral D-guard "Solvang Cutlass": 24" fully integral D-guard handle/blade of 440-C stainless steel, 32 sections of inlays/inserts (in some cases inserts within inserts) including 14K gold, Chad Nichols Damascus, Zirconium, Moire Pattern Timascus, Damasteel TNT and a couple other things I probably missed.
